Corona Bark For Life

The American Cancer Society's Bark for Life will be held in Coronaa from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lee V. Pollard High School, 185 Magnolia Ave., Corona on Aug. 28. The entry fee is $20 and each dog gets a Bark for Life log bandana.

Activities include agility demo, frisbee demo, raffles, free prizes, vendor booths and contests for best dressed dog, dog/owner look alike, best trick and more.

Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore Looking For Teams

The Relay For Life of Lake Elsinore is October 9th at Canyon Lake Middle School. The Relay is looking for teams to register for the 24 hour event. Teams members will take turns walking around the track for 24 hours, because cancer never sleeps.

The next team captains meeting will be held on Thursday, August 26th at 6pm at Ortega High School at 540 Chaney St. in Lake Elsinore. Or you can sign up online at www.elsinorerelay.com.

Reality Star to put on Realty Race for Michelle's Place

Gillian Larson former contestant of "Survivor Gabon" is organizing a Realty Star event in the Temecula Valley next year called Realty Rally.

The Realty Rally is a 4-hour "Amazing Race" style event that will benefit Michelle's Place a local resource center for women with breast cancer.

The 4 hour race that will consist of Reality Stars and the public who want to play an Amazing Race kind of game. The competition will involve crazy activities and fun challenges. Winners will receive a trophy and cash prizes all while raising funds for a local charity.
